I’m Janet Walker, a resilience coach who specializes in helping women balance their bodies, enhance their energy and master their mindset during the (massive) transition that is menopause.
My approach is informed by my own experience navigating menopause in the face of a ton of adversity (a thyroid cancer diagnosis, facial surgery and a few bad falls to name just a few).
I hated how I felt – so I did my research, made some lifestyle changes and worked on my mindset. And you know what? It worked. I not only made it through but feel better than ever.
So much so that I felt called to help other women navigate this phase of life and come out on the other side feeling resilient, relaxed and refreshed – which is exactly what I do as a coach through my Midlife Rescue program.
In addition to being a Wellcoaches® Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I’m an osteopathic manual practitioner, restorative exercise specialist and qigong practice group leader. I have a bachelor’s degree and an osteopathic sciences diploma from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO) and practice (in Toronto Canada) on a part-time basis.
Outside of work, I love hiking and open water swimming, modern Canadian fiction, experimenting in the kitchen and teaching my (older) dog new tricks!
